Mayfield has more licenses than any other contractor in the state, allowing us to comprehensively tackle the needs of your sensitive environment: including landscaping (C-27 license), tree and arborial management (C-49), earthwork and erosion protection and stormwater construction (General Engineering-A), hazardous substance control and HAZWOPER laborer, the Water Board licenses for stormwater inspections and design (QSD, QSP, QISP), and more.
We have Qualified Applicator License/QAL-certified teams on staff for Pest Control/Integrated Pest Management through the California Dept of Agriculture/County Agricultural Commissioner with a variety of sub-classifications for comprehensive health and HAZMAT work.
We also are one of the few with California Hawking Licenses to provide hawks, falcons, and owls for pest control, bird abatement, and biohazard control for avian flu/histoplasmosis risks. This is a great feature for Green Infrastructure.
Our methods typically include diversion, dewatering, containment, soil solidification and encapsulation, thermal fogging, ULV (ultra-low-volume spraying), growth hormone regulators, and pesticide (larvicide, cold mist) use as a last resort according to Integrated Pest Management practices.
All our staff are 40-hour HAZWOPER-certified and OSHA Bloodborne-Pathogen trained (29 CFR 1910.1030, Biosafety Level1-2-3) (two qualifications most Restoration companies DON’T have) that allows us to work in acutely toxic hazardous environments, including areas contaminated with deadly diseases. This includes respirators and Supplied Air/Level B Work, confined space for corpses in crawl spaces or sewers, and more.
We are certified Bacterial/Viral Disinfection Specialists through National Institute of Decontamination Specialists (NAIDS), certified for Meth Lab Decontamination, Hoarding Restoration, & Crime Scene/Death Cleanups through Amdecon/TexasA&M and yet again through NAIDS. We are Trauma Waste Transporters through the California Dept of Public Health (#835), licensed Medical Waste Transporters through CDPH (#7097), and are a certified member company of the American Bio-Recovery Association (ABRA).
